WOW!!! Some of you really need to get a reality check. Stop and read before you comment. The driver of the parked car had open containers in the car. The driver also had the car lights off at night. There were witnesses that say that the trooper was not speeding. Quit being so cynical when there is a police officer involved. Believe it or not, they are all not bad, and no I do not work for any law enforcement agency either. I just wish that those of you who are all too quick to bash someone would just stop and think before you speak or in this case post.

Hey Sports1012 I'm here, I left comments for you on the other page. Was there something that was written that was suppose to change my mind that Sean doesn't deserve a fair trial? Assassin26 knows the man and will speak the truth on his behalf (as he sees it). I don't know Sean, I was not there and I can't testify, but I can give my worthless opinion on here like you and everyone else. Sports1012 I think we could agree on one thing, I would have no problem giving my opinion about him good or bad. Should I be afraid to get on the stand and defend Sean? Why? Because people such as yourself and the media made it more popular to hate him? I think that by now it's obvious I value my freedom of speech and yours. If I saw Sean throw the punch I would clearly testify to it and let the jury Hang him or Hug him, the outcome wouldn't matter as long as the trial is fair. What is wrong with that? You may think I'm an ass, but trust me I am not. As I said in my first comment, I grew up fast when my sister died in another avoidable accident. I felt all this pain and anger you and dan's friends feel now. I'm an older guy (that doesn't drink) that may understand where your head will be in a few years after this is behind us. Don't hate Sean, it will eat you alive. Don't let Dan's kids hate him either or they may never get on with thier lives which is what they will need to do. But just because you're angry don't prevent Sean from having a fair trail. You've already convicted him, if something was to happen where he gets off or if he gets a lighter sentence, you will be even more angry for years and years to come. I will donate to Dan's kids as should all of Monroe County residents that have kids and want to see them move forward.

Geese are a serious problem. I have seen more than one done in down by the bay on Empire. They are protected as a migrating bird but now they are over populating. And it doesn't help when people feed them. I love all birds but enough already!

I am a native of Rochester, and have been watching channel 13 news for as long as I can remember, but after watching this video, and yes, I realize that you put a disclaimer in, will no longer watch your newscast. I don't understand what the reason for showing this video was. You even stated that U-Tube was sensitive enough not to show it, but you for some reason felt it was justified! Was that in the name of news... because we needed to see it... or purely for sensationalizing a tragic beginning to that poor child's life. I am so disappointed, and as I stated before... will no longer "tune in" to your newscast.

Why is the "investigation" as to whether alcohol was involved taking so long? They met each other at the Pelican's Nest. Helloooooo? It's a BAR!!!

As both a convenience and a luxury I believe many Americans enjoy taking a Friday off from work once in a while. We do this to get a head start on weekend projects, spend an extra day w/the kids during the summer, run to the bank , run to the post office, run to the town and/ or village clerks office, etc..... We are a society based upon 40 hrs./wk , 8 hrs/day. The acceptable segregation of white collar, blue collar and government workers has been slowlymolded over the years so that we may all find a ways to interact. An interaction deemed necessarry for a functionable society. A mold that includes 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week yet provides an unlimited list of vairous work hours so that we all may stand a chance of working in something. What the governor of Utah is instituting is a "dream" of 3 day weekends. YAY!!! He is starting with goverment workers... To the rest of us , OUCH!! Just to finish this I would like to state from personal knowlodge, training and experience.... -If I go to work tommorow for 8 hrs., I am going to give 'er hell!!! -If I go to work tommorow for 10 hrs.,I am going to have to pace myself. Where do you think you are going to gain more.

I can't understand why the police can say this driver was drunk, when "a week later" they can't even say if the driver of the boat was drunk?

City Resident - 5:45 PM
In that case then, the cops better be more careful they don't have more crashes like this one, as the drunk driver they crash into, may just be an other drunk cop.
